Gifts and giving

And the sale is on!

In addition and as advertised previously, there will now be a giveaway!

Three things there be- a brooch hand made by myself, a page from a vintage board book with Wee Willie Winkie on it and a marvellous owl print by the wonderful Jon Carling. All you have to do is leave a comment to this post telling me your favourite colour- and why!

There will likely be a few more things popped into your package as well, you never know what I'll come across. The winner will be chosen via the random number generator in 48 hours. Good luck everyone!

the ct wearing the mask of Zorro is pretty spiffy. don't worry about including me in the draw - this is no reflection on the prizes, just that i;m not wanting to increase my burden of possessions
favourite colour? so hard to decide. every time i open a bundle from the dye pot i am convinced that whatever it is must be the best colour on earth...
probably it's green. who knows?

Red every time!

It's a colour that's so full of emotion, it can be fun, exciting, passionate and so moody... i especilly love the deeper richer shades for clothes and accessories... and the classic red and white combo for the home stuff, mixed with some rich dark wood for contrast :)

No need to include me in the giveaway, i've just been by your shop and picked up a couple of things... :)

have a fab weekend,

I love the color blue. While it feels cold to some, to me it is soothing, calming. I am a hot-natured person, so maybe that is why it appeals to me more.

Uhm ... difficult to say but I'll probably have to go for the very faded pink/maroon colour my favourite shirt has at the moment. There's no such thing as using to much detergent! Or is there ...?

Ahh, I love that brooch!

My favorite color is dusty blue. I love how it is a bit silvery, a bit mystical. It is one of the colors of the sky at both twilight and dawn too, my two favorite times of day :).

LOL, I just realized how much the brooch itself is related to dawn! I wasn't just trying to be clever, I swear :P.

I love, love, love all colors. Turquoise is probably my favorite to surround myself with, though. It's just a nice, clean, subtle color. Makes me think of lovely things like the ocean and glass, as well.

Blue, because it's the colour of my imagination, where all my creative ideas come from, as well as the colour of my inspiration, captured on the tip of a paintbrush. ;)

Oh I'm just so excited, thank you for having a lovely giveaway! My favourite colour is aubergine for sure. So deep and complex, the colour of kings and queens, of wisdom and Roman Gods. It has so much history, it speaks for itself. I just adore it.

My favourite color is teal...a deep azure teal...just because it is delicate, yet passionate.

Hey, my 35th is in May - only the most cool were born in 1974. Um, fav colour is black (which I know is technically not a colour). Or REALLY dark burgandy. Or dark purple. Or dark brown or green. Hmm. I guess I like the dark colours. Your brooch would be perfect for me!
Congrats on the anniversary, it's been nice lurking with you this last twelve months or so!

Pink! Light, fluffy pink! With a bit of Chocolate Brown thrown in! I think I like it because it cheers anything up and it's wonderfully girly! You have a beautiful blog and I'll be visiting your etsy! Jeri Anne

Purple is my favourite. It's the colour of things mystical and magical, spiritual and deep.

Congrats on the anniversary.

my favorite color is absolutely aqua/teal/sky/robin's egg blue. that blend of medium blue with just enough green to make it tropical.

Lovely prizes! My favorite color is purple. I think purple is the color of quiet intensity: of femme fatales, of madness, of melancholy, of deep longing. Contained, subdued, depressed, and not-obvious intensity. Things that are unseen. It implies depth. I just love it. : )

I don't know--maybe blue, all shades of it as each shade has a feeling, but I'm liking light green lately, as I find it restful and refreshing.
