Inspiration- victorian rags

I've been getting very inspired by these gorgeous antique pieces, found at the Augusta Auctions online auction catalogue. These can all be found in the Tasha Tudor section, but the photo gallery has some truly gorgeous pieces in there, from the most simple shifts to the most luxuriously embroidered robes.

Apologies for the lack of chit-chat in my posts recently, I've had one of those weeks where communication isn't my strong point. I'm doing fine though- just not feeling very talky. Or typey. :)

i have found myself here through a winding, round-about way, and am quite taken with all that you do - your choice of words, the poetry, the lace, the photos. everything. thanks so much! nina
