Back to the nest
And I'm home again! As most of you travel around a lot I'm sure you understand when I say after being away for a month, I'm so glad to be home! The last few days are like a countdown for me, I wanted so much to get back to my stuff, my bed, my shower, my life. I don't think it's right to have nothing to do but be entertained by others for a month- maybe it just shows how much I love my daily life!
I'll write more on my adventures later, (including a mind-altering trip to Dennis Sever's house), but right now I just want to get back into the daily motions- and that includes a shop update! I'm concentrating on offering my cuff kits, necklace and brooch vintage and antique materials. I'm also about to list several packs of pages from children's books, with each pack containing at least 50% 'good enough to frame' pages.
I'm putting jewelry making on the back-burner for now, with the small exception of developing pieces for pdf tutorials (because I need to make stuff to take photos of it) and one or two pre-arranged submissions to publications. I know I often say 'I'm not making jewelry any more!' only to come back to it days later. But all through my holiday I felt no compulsion to make something, no frustration at not having a work desk. I did get back the desires and ideas for paper collage (with the inclusion of textiles and wax) , as well as box construction. but that's a tale for another blog post.

Welcome home!
Welcome back!
I discovered your jewelries on Etsy and fell in love with them immediately. I'm curious, where do you get your antique materials? I never knew how much I loved these before I knew you, thanks a lot!
