The Milksop

I've been working on some photos in the shop, re-taking some of the duds and brightening things up a little. I've also been busy in the studio- working on two custom orders and a wholesale lot, and do you know? In between all that I still manage to fit in doing some clothes. I've made an amazing shawl, a couple of pairs of socks and a blouse- I'm not really happy with the blouse though...it's very simple and minimalist.

What would you prefer in my clothing range? Simple, not too fussy -almost primitive- things, or a replication of my earlier cuffs with lots of doilies, buttons, sequins etc?

I myself am a minimalist, but I do find your crochet/knitting in your jewelry intriguing.

...you asked!!!! I absolutely adore your earlier cuffs and neck adornments! From malted milk- to dustbowl maiden- to dream trees- to wild seahores- to the sea in winter.....

good luck with the photos! I'm constantly at work trying to perfect mine. The photos in this blog are lovely. . . the first one is particularly stunning!

I think its nice to embrace a new look...doesn't mean the old one didn't wear well too...the clothing is a nice addition to your style.

i am quite enraptured of your new pseudo futuristic minimalism, as well as of your old dickens rags, the blouse though, is caught somewhere in between i think, which is why it is not quite there yet....
